Pence's Feeble Fumble

Vice-President Pence hightailing from the Colts/49ers football game by plan and Presidential command shows an inability to dissociate the jingoism and superficial thoughtless acceptance of symbols from the ideals expounded by the national anthem.  Concrete black/white thinking vs abstract critical thinking.

It is interesting that the football fans at the game did not follow the Vice-President out of the stadium.  Was the game...was the price of the tickets to be lost, more important to them than patriotism?  Or did they understand...have empathy...for the reason for players kneeling during the national anthem?
